Individual
Psychotherapy

Individual Psychotherapy sessions will begin with an initial consultation (with or without guardians - as per client wishes) in which we will build rapport. Initial consultations will generally take one hour, however this is dependent on the client.

Once we have established a therapeutic relationship, we will identify any concerns, and goals the client wishes to work towards.

Individual sessions are the most common form of therapy, despite a clients' age. These 'talk therapy' sessions enable a counsellor to help clients work through any concerns that may arise in a way that is suited to the client, their age, concerns and goals. These sessions can be used to address issues such as, but not limited to;

  • General Mental Health and Wellbeing

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Anxiety

  • Navigating Family Relationships

  • Life Transitions

  • Difficulties with Self-Esteem

  • Stress Management

  • Grief, Loss, or Bereavement

  • Depression

Follow up sessions can occur as regularly as the client wishes, or feels necessary. Follow up sessions will vary in duration from thirty to fifty minutes. Clients are not limited to one form of therapy and are welcome to participate in play therapy and / or small group sessions, for building social skills.
